Planting Hope: 10,000 Seedlings Planted at Menengai Forest
It was a great day of conservation action as members of the Menengai Community Forest Association came together to plant 10,000 seedlings at Menengai Forest.
This tree planting exercise reflects our continued commitment to restoring forest cover, protecting the Menengai ecosystem, and promoting community participation in conservation. Every seedling planted is a step toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Menengai for present and future generations.
The activity brought together members of the community who understand that conservation is not a one-day event, but a shared responsibility. Through teamwork, dedication, and active participation, the Menengai community demonstrated its commitment to protecting the forest and strengthening environmental resilience.
Planting 10,000 seedlings is more than an environmental milestone. It is an investment in cleaner air, improved biodiversity, better soil protection, water conservation, climate action, and the long-term restoration of Menengai Forest.
Menengai Community Forest Association remains committed to working with community members, partners, schools, government institutions, and conservation champions to ensure that these seedlings are not only planted, but also nurtured to maturity.
Conservation is our priority, and together we will continue growing a greener Menengai.
